About Francesca
I developed a passion for literature and the humanities from an early age, a passion that I decided to follow even as an adult, enrolling in Modern Literature. It may be because of the gab or excessive curiosity, but I have always loved to communicate and explain to others what I had learned. This is why in high school I started giving repetitions first to my friends and classmates and then to other kids in the school, always receiving positive feedback. I don't try to replace the professors, but rather to offer an alternative method of approaching subjects that are apparently rigid and tedious. This is why I believe, and I think rightly, speaking from personal experience, that I can bring effective help to those who need it, even with a little laughs and above all debate.

Being a student myself, I am aware of the difficulty at times of interfacing with certain subjects, in particular with Latin, considered by many to be boring and complicated to understand in its mechanisms. For this reason, first of all I want to show my students that every topic, if taken from the right direction, can be interesting, through an approach that tends to stimulate intelligence and curiosity, without being heavy and excessively rigid. To take the example of carrying out a translation: I start first from the analysis, taking into account not only the basic grammar but also the stylistic and expressive peculiarities of the author. Later I believe it is essential to learn to fully use the dictionary, not stopping at the first terms you read, but looking inside the various headwords and thus discovering how much it can really help us. Finally, once you have the basic structure of the translation, I lead the student to make the rendering in Italian linear and pleasant.
