I am currently a postgraduate student at Goldsmiths University and working as a freelance Art Director. I have a degree in English Literature & Media Studies.
I have several years of experience teaching GCSE and A Level students. I have also assisted students in dissertation research and proofreading.

I give lessons to GCSE, A-Level, and Degree Level students. I mostly specialise in English Literature and Creative Writing lessons but can also teach up to degree level Media and Film Studies.
I have recent experience of AQA and Edexcel.
MY LESSONS:
My teaching method is based on the learning style of each individual student. Getting to know what makes them feel confident in their studies is important as well as helping them cultivate a genuine interest in the subject. My lesson plans are well organised but also student lead, each lesson is suited to their pace.
In the first lesson it is helpful to know what the student is wants to achieve from lessons and what we are working towards. Perhaps they want specific help on a text or to improve a specific skill.
For test preparation and working towards deadlines, I co-ordinate with students to set reachable targets and prepare interesting and engaging tasks. There is no pressure in my lessons and it is always great to have an open and friendly dialogue with students to help them both get the best grades they can and to develop a passion for their studies.
