About Charis
Whilst I have not privately tutored before, I have tutored individuals in a school setting. This primarily consisted of a reading program whereby I tutored secondary school students once a week who were struggling with their reading.
Outside of this, I have a wide variety of classroom experience across many age ranges and schools in different cities, which has meant that I am able to adapt my teaching style to a vast array of individual needs.

I will be graduating in July (expected degree class - 2:1) with a degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Westminster.
I have classroom experience across age groups, from primary school through to sixth form level and have the goal of becoming an English teacher in the future. My experience and education enables me to tutor both English Language and Literature.
Alongside my degree, I work part time as a bookseller and therefore have a very keen interest in promoting a love of reading from as young an age as possible.
I am a confident and well-organised individual, which will be reflected in my tutoring. I am very happy to adapt my teaching style to suit learners, whilst maintaining structured and clear lessons.
