About Bethany
I have been teaching in different capacities for 10 years starting as a sailing instructor for children and adults. I have since worked in France and the UK leading educational workshops for groups of anything up to 30 children or tutoring on a indiquas basis. Most recently I have taught English as a foreign language at a language school in Paris and primary level science through interactive after-school workshops in Southampton. I will complete my degree in French and History from the University of Southampton this summer so I have current and strong experience in research, study skills and subject specific knowledge that I am using every day.

I have recently finished a BA in French and History from the University of Southampton and can offer lessons up to A level or equivalent in humanities subjects such as History, French, English literature / language etc.. I can also teach English as a foreign language up to an intermediate level. My structure is largely dictated by my student’s needs but my approach will always be centred in giving quality constructive feedback, providing a positive learning environment and helping to bring out the best in my students! I have ADHD, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia meaning I understand personally the difficulties AND advantages special educational or social needs provide. I am therefore, more than happy to work with students who have any disabilities and will enthusiastically accommodate any access needs.
