About Lia
Hello! I am Lia, a Romanian actress based in London. I am passionate about movement (dance, yoga, HIIT workouts etc) and storytelling. I've been personally tutoring people for 3 years now, teaching English and Romanian. I'm happy to be able to bring my classes on this platform and share my discoveries with you, too!

My approach when teaching any language is very playful and creative. I taught myself English from scratch so I know a traditional approach may leave you feeling afraid to actually speak and express yourself in the new language you're learning. Correct acccent is always incorporated!
I use games, role-play and lots of other acting inspired techniques to get that new info to stick! I also use resources such as fragments of books, music and parts of films!
I love incorporating bits of culture/foods/rituals/traditions/customs/geography about Romania so you can get a broader sense of the whole universe of the language.
