About Aryan
Hello, I’m Aryan – a LSE university student with a strong academic background and a real passion for helping others succeed. I’ve achieved flawless grades at GCSE and A-Level, and I’m now studying PPE at one of the UK’s top universities. Along the way, I’ve picked up a lot of experience explaining tricky concepts to friends and younger students, and I’ve found that I really enjoy it. I want to teach because I know how frustrating it can feel when a subject doesn’t quite click. I’ve been there myself, and I believe the right support can make a huge difference. Tutoring isn’t just about giving answers – it’s about building confidence, breaking things down clearly, and helping students see what they’re actually capable of. My approach to tutoring is simple: make sure the student understands, not just memorise the content. I focus on building a solid foundation first, then help them apply that knowledge through practice. I like to keep things interactive—asking questions, encouraging discussion, and using real-life examples where possible to make the content more relatable. My lesson length is usually around an hour, but I adapt depending on the student’s focus and schedule. Sometimes shorter, more frequent sessions work better, especially for younger learners or before exams. I’ve tutored younger pupils before, especially in maths and economics, helping them understand tricky topics and prepare for exams. I got 4 A* in A-Levels studying Philosophy, Economics, Maths and Further Maths. I typically teach GCSE and younger A-Level students, though I’m happy to work with pupils aged 11+ who need support with maths or related subjects.
