About Skye
I've been tutoring students for over two years throughout the Southern Highlands and in the UK. I was Dux of Oxley College in 2019, achieving an ATAR of 99.75, the NSW Premiers Award and a State Rank in Visual Arts. I have an extensive understanding of the personalised teaching required to ensure academic success and improvement. I was selected to represent Australia at the International Youth Science Forum at the National University of Singapore, with my area of interest being neuroscience. I teach students from early primary school to HSC level, specialising in Science and Maths for senior students however I tutor in all subjects up to year 10.

My teaching approach is extremely multifaceted, accounting for the multiple intelligences, using a personalised learning approach. I believe it is vital to link known knowledge with new topics, as revision and consolidation is important in a successful learning journey. I also include relevant examples that are engaging and interactive for the student. I provide supportive feedback to the students whilst encouraging opportunity for student self-reflection, in order to improve their performance in the relevant subject area.
