About Ben
I myself began dancing when I was 14 years old, which is quite old for someone to start dancing. I learned very quickly that when it came to dancing, hardwork and ambition were the only way to feel accomplished. With those two traits in mind, I worked my way into one of the top collegiate contemporary dance programs at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. There I spent two years training and learning from multiple inspiring faculty and choreographers. I now train at Gibney Dance company as one of the GibneyPro cohort members. A certificate program, under the direction of Alexandra Wells and Bret Yamanaka.

Having trained in both a competition and conservatory setting I feel that I can bring a unique perspective on the foundations and teachings of dance. I believe that dance is a natural physical need and wish to help all people find the freedom in movement. My personal pedagogy differs slightly dependent on genre, but I wholeheartedly believe that mutual respect is the base for any successful mentorship.
