About Norman
I have tutored math for six years, have studied many subjects, and have worked in many different fields. I've taught myself Morse Code, have built complex radio transceivers for code and voice, and have worked in engineering research labs. Prior to getting a Novice Class license in amateur radio, I taught myself algebra before I had it in school so I could pass the FCC written exam. I've reached hundreds of countries and am now listed in World Radio History because of my radio accomplishments at the North Pole where I tracked satellites for the USAF as a civilian.

Most students have told me that I have helped them a great deal in mathematics. We focus on the problems and try to find a solution based on the student's ability and greatest needs. My prime concern is not how quickly they memorize but how they improve their understanding at their grade level. When basic understanding is accomplished, the student feels happy and proud. That helps them form a love of mathematics.
