About Sage
I am a student at the University of Pretoria, studying a Bachelor of Commerce. I went through my matric year having to adjust to the new and scary challenges faced by Corona Virus. Although this cancelled most of my matric goals and plans, I will be forever grateful for the versatility I was taught converting to online school as well as overall improvement on my discipline and initiative to ask for help. I was so determined to achieve a really high mark that I went over and beyond what was required of me. Even if I was up to date, I would go to the extra lessons, spend breaks talking to teachers about what I could fix, write practice essays over weekends and I was able to exceed my expectations! SO believe me, I will find the secret to what is missing in your daily routine and I will be that passionate voice at the back of your head reminding you to want bigger and better for yourself!

I am proficient in English and will teach in English. My teaching style differs with every student because each student has a unique way of retaining information and communicating. I usually assess the student's level of understanding by providing an initial quiz with no pressure to get any mark and from there, every time there is lack of confidence shown in a section, I draw on the basics that are needed and pay special attention to the difficult areas. I feel it is so important to break it down into microscopic areas of work but celebrate each achievement as a huge success! I am happy to assist any grades of Highschool students.
