About Kimberly
Hello! My name is Kimberly, and I am a dedicated English and Language tutor with over 7 years of experience helping students reach their full academic potential. My background in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) has given me a deep understanding of the subject matter, but more importantly, it has taught me how to communicate complex ideas in a way that is clear, engaging, and easy to digest.
I pride myself on being patient, professional, and reliable. I understand that every student has a unique learning style, and I am committed to adapting my lessons to fit your specific needs. My goal is to not only help you improve your grades but also to build the confidence you need to tackle any academic challenge.

Methodology:
Knowing that every student is different, I use a student-centered approach. My goal is to help you understand the why behind concepts, along with the right answer. Use of visual aids ensures the material really sticks.
What A Typical Lesson Looks Like:
1. Review: Go over previous material and tackle any specific homework questions you're struggling with.
2. The Deep Dive: Introduce a new concept through interactive examples and step-by-step breakdowns.
3. Guided Practice: Work through problems together to build your confidence.
4. Wrap up: A quick summary and setting a goal for the next session.
What Sets Me Apart: I teach students how to become independent learners. I am known for my patience and my ability to break down complex, intimidating topics into bite-sized, manageable pieces. I have a standard for clarity within myself to pass on to my students to continue to inspire my students and teaching style every day.
