About Louis
I have been teaching and tutoring for 15 years, beginning as an EFL teacher when I was 16. I have always had a great passion for learning and translated that in to a first-class BA in Politics and Sociology at the University of Leeds, a prize for academic success, and a scholarship to attend the LSE for an MSc in Political Theory. Since then, I have been tutoring in the social sciences as I thoroughly enjoy helping people work through their obstacles, and reach their potential in the subjects I love. Outside of tutoring, I have published in the national press, appeared on Radio 4 as a commentator, and worked with non-fiction authors to research for books on political and legal history.

I design lessons to be interactive and discussion based, tailoring each lesson to a student's preferences, learning style, and goals. I currently tutor all levels, from year 7s developing an interest in politics and the social sciences, to established academics in Korea, the UK, and the US working on refining articles for publication. I have thousands of hours of experience in working with a diverse range of students and have succeeded in helping them to enter prestigious universities, win scholarships, publish work in academia and the press, and advance their careers.
