About Rukhsaar
My name is Rukhsaar, and I am an LSE graduate with a strong track record of supporting students in achieving outstanding academic outcomes. I specialise in Creative Writing, English, and academic development, with a particular focus on strengthening critical thinking, writing clarity, and dissertation planning. Over recent years, I have helped more than ten students secure places at highly competitive institutions, including Oxbridge, LSE, and other Russell Group universities. My professional background spans academic mentoring, project management, and research-focused roles, equipping me with the ability to teach with both analytical precision and creative openness. I bring a structured yet encouraging approach to every lesson, ensuring that students build confidence in their ideas, refine their writing voice, and develop the skills necessary for long-term academic success. I value professionalism, reliability, and clear communication. Every student I work with receives tailored guidance and thoughtful feedback designed to elevate their writing and empower them to think independently. Whether you are preparing for exams, developing a university application, or working on a dissertation, I aim to create a supportive, high-quality learning environment that helps you realise your full potential.

My teaching approach is centred on structured guidance, personalised development, and strengthening each student’s individual voice. I begin every programme by assessing the student’s goals, writing style, and confidence levels, then design a tailored plan that builds both skill and strategy. My methods combine analytical rigour with creative exploration: close reading, idea mapping, narrative development, and step-by-step scaffolding for essays, coursework, and dissertations. I use guided questioning, model examples, and iterative feedback to help students develop strong arguments, richer creative expression, and clear academic thinking. A typical lesson lasts 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and the depth of the material. Each session includes practical exercises, collaborative editing, discussion of structure or themes, and specific take-home improvements to implement before the next class. I prioritise clarity, confidence, and measurable progression, ensuring that students understand not only what to write but how to think through a piece of work independently. I draw on my background as an LSE graduate, a career development mentor, and an academic coach who has helped 10+ students secure places at Oxbridge, LSE, and Russell Group universities. My experience includes coaching students in creative writing, English coursework, dissertation development, academic research skills, and competitive university applications. I have also supported students in developing their communication, critical reading, and analytical writing skills. My lessons are suitable for students aged 14 through university level, including GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate applicants, and those preparing long-form academic projects such as dissertations or research proposals. I particularly enjoy working with ambitious learners who want structured guidance, rigorous feedback, and a supportive environment that elevates both creative and academic performance. I aim to help every student bring out their strongest, most authentic writing, whether for creative expression, academic success, or entry into a world-class university.
