About Maria
I am a dedicated tutor with a background in Economics and Politics and 2 years of experience teaching A-Level/IB Economics, Politics, and Maths.
Having received very little help during my IB journey, I wish to democratise the process of receiving top scores through accessible and flexible tutoring. Via this independent journey, I learnt what makes a good exam paper, and how to discover what study techniques work for which purposes.
I enjoy helping students build academic confidence after mastering challenging concepts, tailoring my teaching to each individual's learning style, schedules, and goals!

As a current student at LSE, I offer flexible schedules and customised lessons, tailored to your learning style and goals. With a degree in Economics and Politics, 44/45 in the IB, and 2 years of tutoring experience, I use analogy and visual techniques to simplify complex concepts and enhance understanding. I will help you learn the structure and techniques needed to excel in your papers.
Lesson lengths may be tailored to each student's availability and needs, designed for IB, GCSE and A-Level students of who want to excel in their exam preparation. Having gotten into all of my 13 university choices (in the UK and abroad), I can also offer unique insights and help into university applications.
