About Yara
I have spent the last 9+ years inspiring students through flute lessons that are simple, enjoyable, and practical. I teach school and college students and believe that every learner deserves personal attention and encouragement.
My teaching style focuses on building a strong foundation before moving to advanced skills. Students learn breathing control, posture, hand position, finger techniques, rhythm, scales, and tone quality before exploring expressive performance.
I enjoy watching students grow into confident musicians who enjoy sharing their music with others. Along with flute, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, music appreciation, and performance skills. My mission is to help students enjoy every lesson while developing confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for music.

My flute teaching approach encourages students to enjoy music while building strong technical skills. My methodology combines Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to create effective and enjoyable lessons.
Students learn breathing techniques, posture, finger coordination, note reading, rhythm, and tone quality before progressing to articulation, scales, improvisation, expression, and stage confidence.
Motivation helps students stay committed to regular practice. Communication allows every lesson to be interactive and easy to understand. Integrity creates a respectful learning environment where every student feels supported.
Creative learning includes favourite songs, rhythm activities, duet performances, ear training, listening practice, improvisation, and concert preparation. Besides flute, I also teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, and performance coaching.
