About Zoey
With more than 3 years of tutoring experience, I focus on making mathematics practical and approachable. My BSc in Mathematics with Actuarial Science prepared me to specialize in discrete mathematics. I teach logic, set theory, graph theory, and combinatorics with an emphasis on application. Computer science students often come to me for help in algorithms and data structures. I show them how discrete mathematics forms the foundation of computation. My teaching style is structured yet adaptable to each learner’s pace. I use examples, problem-solving, and discussion to make abstract ideas clear. I provide support for coursework, projects, and exam preparation. My lessons emphasize both accuracy and confidence-building. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically about concepts. Over the years, I have helped learners gain a deeper understanding of both mathematics and computing. In my Maths teaching, I place emphasis on discrete mathematics, coding logic, and computational thinking. I help students connect mathematical concepts to real-world programming challenges. Topics such as set theory, logic, graph theory, and combinatorics are explained step by step. I use programming analogies to make learning natural and accessible. My sessions are relaxed but always purposeful. I support learners who prefer structured frameworks as well as those who enjoy exploring proofs.
