About Ben
My name's Ben, I've got an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy, and BA in Philosophy. Through university I worked at a theatre in the West End. I got to hang out with interesting people at work - which was great because I'm a people person - but I had to process complex ideas quickly to meet my deadlines. I have utilised this skill by tutoring politics and philosophy from A-level to university, effectively communicating difficult concepts in everyday terms. I really hate the feeling when something just isn't adding up, so I love seeing the penny drop when I explain things to students in a relatable way. Tutoring is also a way of keeping me razor sharp on the issues I care about. I write articles on politics and philosophy, and there's no better motivator to stay sharp than teaching! University : - London School of Economics & Political Science - MSc Philosophy and Public Policy [2:1 (Expected)] - University College London - BA Philosophy [2:1] School : Oldham Sixth Form College A Levels - Government and Politics [A*] - History [A*] - Philosophy [A] Prizes and Scholarships : Partial scholarship to LSE in recognition of academic potential.

Ben was an incredible help while I was writing my Philosophy MSc Dissertation. He was able to provide me with proof reading, argument formation help, writing help, and with understanding some complex pieces of text. He is very knowledgeable about both philosophy and politics.
Ben personalised my learning objectives, from a none typical student (OU course) he helped me gain the confidence and education skills I needed to pass the course I was on which required an understanding of philosophy.
