About Fatmaruhani

Hello, my name is Ruhani and I am passionate about helping fellow language learners to discover the joy of learning new languages. I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Malay Studies at the University of Malaya, and alongside my research and data collection, I enjoy reading literature and engaging in creative writing. I graduated from the University of Malaya, specializing in Malay Linguistics with English proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate level. I have three years of teaching experience, particularly in assisting international students in Malaysia to develop their reading, writing, and speaking skills as well as their ability to communicate in Malay Language. I look forward to supporting my students and peers in their language learning journey while making it both meaningful and enjoyable.

About the lesson

Hello, my name is Ruhani and I'm passionate about making learning Bahasa Melayu enjoyable, meaningful and tailored to each student. My lessons are designed to be interactive and effective to help you not only understand the language but also enjoy the process of learning it. A typical lesson is about 45 minutes, but I always adapt to your needs, whether you're a young learner with a short attention span or an adult aiming for professional or academic goals. My teaching style focuses on building confidence step by step in order to make you feel comfortable in reading, writing and speaking in Bahasa Melayu. I hold a degree in Malay Linguistics and am currently pursuing my PhD in Malay Studies at the University of Malaya. Over the years, I've had the privilege of assisting international students in Malaysia to learn Bahasa Melayu as a second communication language. This has taught me how to adapt my lessons to various levels, learning styles, and goals. Whether you're just starting out, preparing for exams, or learning for fun, my lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. Let's make Bahasa Melayu a language you can truly be confident and comfortable using. I look forward to supporting my students and peers in learning language while making it meaningful and enjoyable.
