About Clarissa
I’ve tutored in Chinese for one year. I taught Chinese one-on-one to students at a language exchange cafe in Taipei for 6 months, and have been teaching my own students on the side for 1 year. My students go from knowing no (or little) Chinese to being able to carry on a conversation and write/understand some characters!

I’m a junior in college majoring in Chinese. I am fluent in Chinese since I grew up as a half Chinese-American and I learned reading and writing in school (simplified and traditional). My teaching method emphasizes learning to speak and understand through practicing conversation and listening.
