About Andrew
My name is Andy and I am a Marine Science graduate from the University of Otago. I am currently working on my PhD with the University of Auckland specializing in biological oceanography. Before this I worked as a teaching fellow in the Department of Marine Science at Otago where I taught second and third year students. My passion lies in the ocean and I enjoy diving, surfing and sailing along with my studies which have taken me most recently to Rangitāhua (the Kermadec Islands). There's a whole to tell and i'm always happy to chat during the tutorials.

These lessons are tailored to each student as an individual. I like to teach using visual methods and examples that can be seen or tested at home to convey ideas and methods to you.
These lessons will probably last between 30 and 60 minutes (however I will provide any time required to individual students) and will be most useful for students at college and in undergrad.
Over the last two years I have worked as a teaching fellow in the Department of Marine Science at the University of Otago and am now studying a PhD at the University of Auckland.
