About Sam
I have recently graduated with a master's degree in biochemistry, with some micro and molecular biology lab experience. I have covered a wide variety of biological topics during my studies, and have a genuine interest and passion for the life sciences. I believe the study and practice of the life sciences has the power to tackle some of the biggest challenges we face today, and would be excited to share knowledge and an interest in the subject to others.

I aim to cover all necessary syllabus content required as well as discussing broader themes and concepts beyond the scope of the syllabus, which can help to establish a more complete understanding of biology. I believe cultivating a wider understanding of the subject can not only give the student extra information that can be included in longer-form answers, but can also make answering biology questions in general much easier. There are several core biological concepts which once understood, will be applicable across all biological sciences. Content can be learnt, but understanding has to be taught. I aim for a healthy balance between the two. I am willing to teach GCSE and A level students, with flexible lesson times and can do either in-person or online lessons.
