About Hazel
My teaching approach to Chemistry is gentle and reflective, focusing on building a strong mathematical foundation. I believe understanding the core concepts of physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics is essential to truly grasp how the world works at a molecular level. I especially enjoy working with DIY Biologists and Science Fiction Thinkers, supporting them to find their unique voice through these challenging topics. Together, we explore chemistry not just as a subject, but as a way to understand nature’s laws and mysteries. My lessons are designed to help students gain confidence and inner peace by mastering difficult theories in a calm and supportive environment.

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MPhil in Chemistry.
