Music has been a guiding force in my life from an early age, shaping my identity and career as a pianist and educator. With a deep-rooted passion for both classical traditions and the improvisational freedom of jazz, I bring over a decade of dedicated experience to my role as a piano teacher.
My musical journey began with intensive classical training, where I developed a strong technical foundation and an appreciation for the depth and complexity of classical repertoire. This rigorous training instilled in me a disciplined approach to music that I now impart to my students. As I progressed, my curiosity led me to explore jazz and other contemporary genres, expanding my musical palette and inspiring my teaching philosophy that values both tradition and innovation.

In my piano lessons, I strive to create a transformative experience where students not only develop technical proficiency but also cultivate a deep appreciation for music as a form of self-expression and creativity. With a foundation in both classical rigour and jazz improvisation, I tailor each lesson to the individual needs and goals of my students, regardless of their level of experience.
Beginning with fundamental techniques such as proper hand positioning, scales, and sight-reading, I ensure that students build a solid groundwork that supports their musical journey. As students progress, I introduce them to a diverse repertoire that spans classical masterpieces, jazz standards, and contemporary pieces. This variety not only exposes them to different musical styles but also encourages exploration and personal interpretation.
I place a strong emphasis on musicality, helping students understand the nuances of dynamics, phrasing, and emotional expression within the music they play. Beyond technical instruction, I incorporate music theory and history into lessons to provide context and deepen their understanding of the pieces they are learning.
