About Harper
I am a passionate language tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and four years of teaching experience. My interest in Spanish led me to study the language deeply and help others discover its beauty. I recall helping a college student who was struggling to pass his intermediate Spanish grammar requirement.
We broke down complex verb tenses into simple visual charts and practiced them using real-life conversation examples. He ended up passing his class with an excellent grade and even decided to minor in Spanish. I bring an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly patient personality to every online lesson that I teach.

My instructional methodology centers on student engagement, ensuring you actively practice speaking Spanish during every single session. We build your foundational vocabulary through clear, theme based lessons that connect to your hobbies and daily routines. Pronunciation correction is handled gently to help you develop a natural accent and maintain high speaking confidence.
Grammar concepts are explained using very simple formulas, followed immediately by practical conversation and writing application exercises. We practice reading comprehension using authentic short stories, cultural essays, and digital news articles from Spanish speaking countries. Writing tasks focus on creating practical items like personal journals, travel checklists, or basic business correspondence.
Listening comprehension is boosted by regular exposure to native audio tracks, short stories, and common conversational dialogue recordings. I offer customized support for school students trying to raise their grades or prepare for final exams. If you are preparing to travel, we will use role-play to practice ordering food and asking directions.
