About Joel
With over 25 years of professional experience playing and teaching saxophone, I’ve had the privilege of helping students grow into confident, skilled musicians. I've taught at several universities in Chicago, where I’ve guided students of all levels with patience, clarity, and a deep love for music. Many of my students have gone on to earn scholarships and gain admission to competitive college music programs. As a passionate performer and composer, my original music is available on all major streaming platforms, and I’m always excited to share performance videos so potential students can hear my playing. Whether you're just beginning or preparing for advanced study, I’m here to support your musical journey every step of the way.
