I've been tutoring math students both formally and informally for over 15 years now, from middle school to Stanford graduate school and ever since. I've been a TA and a project mentor, too. Math is its own language, and I want to help you achieve fluency.

My strategy focuses on active problem-solving, with guidance toward the most helpful strategies. You'll try practice problems on your own, and I'm there for when you get stuck and need a nudge in the right direction, or a concept isn't clicking. In math, there's generally multiple correct ways to approach any one idea, and I can introduce each until we find one that makes sense to you!

As my research mentor, Jaclyn pushes me to dive deeper into my research and was the reason why I was able to draft a research paper and poster presentation. She was not only a great mentor, but a person who was fun to talk and kept me up to date with quantum physics terms and principles. I truly enjoyed my frequent meetings with her, and find that she was easy to connect with on a teacher student level, but also human to human.
