About Jess
With 20 years of experience in education and a deep passion for language, I am a dedicated Spanish tutor ready to help you succeed. I hold certifications in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania with endorsements in Spanish, and I’m a proud Certified Apple Teacher. My academic journey includes a Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from Millersville University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh, where I also earned a Certificate in Latin American Studies. My teaching career spans a wide range of settings, from high school classrooms to college lecture halls. I have taught Spanish, French, and Italian, and developed tailored curriculums to meet state standards and the unique needs of my students. I’ve worked as a department chair, long-term substitute, and adjunct professor, honing my ability to create engaging lessons that make language learning fun and meaningful.
