About Jennifer
I graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Psychology and a Master in Education. As part of my Bachelor program I became an internationally published author and a national author during my Master program. Along with my formal education, I have tutored for 12 years. I have worked with students from kindergarten to college and have also worked with ESL students. I have extensive experience tutoring math (through precalculus), science (psychology, biology, sociology, etc.), and Language Arts/English. As part of that experience, I edited writing for 8 years.

My goal is to move students through the stages of being overwhelmed and teach them what tools are available and how to use them so that learning can be easier.
A typical lesson will start with gaining a basic understanding of the skills a student has. From there, while helping them meet the demands of any current assignments, I will also assist in building foundational skills that will allow them to approach future assignments more easily.
I am happy to tutor any student in elementary or secondary school and college. I am able to tutor math through pre-calculus, sciences such as psychology and biology, and Language Art/English, including ESL.
