About Melinda
I have been in the higher education "game" for over 30 years, starting as a composition teacher and Assistant Director of the Univ. of Maryland's Writing Center. I am a generalist with a specific interest in effective communication, so no matter your field, I believe I can help you. I have worked on projects in children's television, health communication, political talk radio, and government communication. I have created and updated many college courses to use only free online sources. I especially appreciate the communication value of visual images.
