About Roxanne
My name is Roxanne, a North Carolina-based English tutor, yoga instructor, and herbal practitioner. I’m passionate about languages, and I help students worldwide learn French in a fun way. After three years teaching online, I found textbooks dull and impractical, so I built a Real-Life French Program with movies, shows, books, and lively conversation. I currently have structured learning paths from Beginner through Upper Intermediate. An Advanced program is coming soon.

But if you pause, translate subtitles, question each grammar point, mimic the actors, and retell the scene, one clip teaches you listening, speaking, reading, grammar, and memory all at once. French expressions are hard to translate, yet natives use them constantly. We’ll learn each in context through short dialogues and repeat them until they feel natural. Practice makes perfect!
