About Emma
Hi, I’m a French tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Graduate Diploma in French Language Teaching. I have a deep love for the sound of the French language and enjoy helping others discover its musicality. My teaching blends pronunciation coaching with rhythm, music, and phonetics for a unique and effective learning experience. I use French songs, tongue twisters, and poetry to help students shape their accent and master intonation. These tools make learning more fun while training the ear and voice to sound more natural. We focus on the flow of spoken French—not just accuracy, but how it *feels* to speak it. I’ve worked with actors, singers, and voice artists who want to refine their pronunciation and sound authentic. But I also support beginners who simply want to be understood and gain confidence. No matter your level, I’ll guide you through a warm and creative journey into the sound and rhythm of French. Together, we’ll develop not just your fluency, but your voice. My approach to teaching French is warm, fun, and focused on real-life use. I believe language should be lived, not just memorized. That’s why I use games, songs, storytelling, and humor to help students remember and enjoy what they learn.

Whether you're learning French for daily life, travel, or to feel more at home in a new country, I support you with patience and encouragement.
