Hi, I’m Katlyn — History Buff, Culture Nerd, and Your Personal Time-Travel Guide I have a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Anthropology from the University of West Georgia. My specialty? Hi there! I’m a history tutor who believes learning the past should feel more like solving a mystery or going on an epic quest than memorizing dry dates.
My Approach & Techniques:
I combine storytelling with active engagement—connecting events to modern themes, culture, and causes. I guide students to develop strong critical thinking skills by analyzing primary sources, creating timelines, debating perspectives, and mapping cause-and-effect relationships. I use visual aids, mnemonics, and structured review games to keep things lively.
