About Mabel
My guitar teaching approach blends strong foundations with creative exploration. I help students build solid technique, rhythm control, and fretboard fluency from the ground up. We also cover core music theory, so learners understand what they’re playing—not just how to play it. For those interested in modern music, I use tech tools like looping apps, digital tuners, backing tracks, and DAWs to make learning interactive and fun. Students who enjoy structure and discipline can expect clear practice routines and detailed feedback, while those drawn to expressive playing are encouraged to write riffs, explore tone, and develop their own voice. Lessons are always personalized. I adapt my style to match each student's goals whether they’re preparing classical pieces, mastering power chords, or diving into songwriting. We explore different genres, alternate tunings, and dynamic performance skills.

With 4 years of dedicated teaching experience, I specialize in preparing guitar students for competitive music exams, scholarships, and high-stakes auditions. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Guitar, and my training has equipped me with the tools to develop both technical mastery and artistic expression in my students. Many of the learners I’ve mentored have gone on to gain admission into top-tier music programs and conservatories.
My lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to meet the rigorous demands of professional-level preparation. From advanced sight-reading and fretboard fluency to deep dives into harmony, transcription, and audition repertoire, every session is designed to elevate performance.
