About Hazel
From the first time I picked up a guitar, I was drawn to the expressive, improvisational nature of jazz. It’s a language that speaks directly to the soul, and I’ve dedicated myself to mastering its nuances and sharing that knowledge with others.
Teaching jazz guitar allows me to pass on the joy and excitement that this music brings. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student's eyes light up when they nail a tricky chord progression or improvise a solo that’s entirely their own. I believe that music education is not just about learning notes and techniques, but about fostering a deeper connection with the instrument and the music itself. My goal is to inspire my students to explore their musicality and to express themselves confidently through their guitar playing.
