I have been teaching for 10 years in the high school environment. I am a leader in brining an understanding of genetic engineering to the high school classroom. I also work with biomedical students to help them develop their scientific reasoning skills.

I believe in the ignorance of a scientist leads to the discovery. I guide my students through their exploration of the natural world. I am a former cell biology researcher that switched to teaching. Teaching has allowed me the opportunity to share my passion for scientific reasoning.
