About Anya
My math lessons go far beyond memorizing formulas—they’re built to spark curiosity and make learning truly come alive. I believe that every abstract concept has a story, and I help students uncover it. Through creative problem-solving scenarios, interactive logic puzzles, and real-world simulations, we bring equations and theorems into everyday perspective. Instead of just telling you how to solve a problem, I guide you to explore it. We break things down visually, play with patterns, and experiment with different strategies. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and discover your own methods. This hands-on approach builds true understanding—not just for the next test, but for life. Whether you’re a natural Problem Solver or focused Exam Taker, I’ll help you connect each step to the bigger picture. Together, we’ll dive into the ‘why’ behind every formula and proof. Expect each lesson to challenge your thinking and grow your confidence. We’ll turn confusion into clarity and frustration into discovery. My goal is for you to develop deep mathematical intuition—skills that last well beyond the classroom. Let’s unlock your full potential, one insight at a time.

With over 10 years of experience and an MSc in Industrial Mathematics, I specialize in helping students explore the deep connections between pure math and modern applications. My teaching focuses on algebraic geometry—especially polynomial equations and algebraic varieties—and how these abstract ideas reveal surprising links to theoretical physics and computer science.
I guide students through the conceptual beauty of structures like projective spaces and coordinate rings, showing how they relate to cutting-edge topics like string theory and coding theory. Lessons are rich in discussion, intuition, and structured problem-solving. I break down advanced concepts into accessible parts, whether it’s classifying curves or interpreting dimensions in higher spaces.
I’ve worked extensively with university students, researchers, and curious learners diving into interdisciplinary math. We don’t just solve problems—we explore how math shapes the world’s deepest ideas. I integrate visualizations and real-world parallels to keep things grounded yet profound.
Whether you're prepping for exams, exploring research, or connecting theory to tech, I tailor lessons to your goals. With patience and passion, I support learners in grasping both the why and the how. Join me to become a well-rounded and confident mathematician—at the intersection of abstract theory and grand application.
