About Lena
With over 3 years of experience and an MPhil in Mathematics, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students through their math journeys at every level. I take a holistic approach to teaching, aiming not just to improve performance but to reduce math anxiety and build lasting confidence. I understand that many students carry fear or frustration when it comes to numbers—and I’m here to change that. My sessions are rooted in the belief that everyone can learn math with the right support. My teaching approach in Maths is highly structured and concept-driven. I believe that a strong foundation is key to mastering any mathematical topic. I help students understand how formulas and theorems come together through step-by-step explanations. Whether it’s solving equations, proving geometric theorems, or analyzing data, I break down complex ideas into simple, understandable parts. My goal is not just to teach how to solve problems, but to help students understand *why* each step matters.
Every session is designed with their future in mind, especially those aiming to become actuaries or analytical professionals. I tailor my guidance to match each student’s pace and learning style. Practice is key, so I provide plenty of exercises with detailed feedback. Students gain confidence as they see their skills improving steadily.
