About Daniel
I'm Daniel, I'm 24 years old and from Huddersfield. I studied an undergraduate and masters degree in physics from the University of Leeds before undertaking a PhD as part of the Soft Matter for Formulation and Industrial Innovation CDT. I come from a family of teachers, with both parents and my older brother being a teacher. This has given me an intimate knowledge and passion for education and teaching. I would like to use this passion to help you learn more about the world around you, and to help you achieve the most you possibly can.

I have had lots of experience in teaching throughout my masters degree and before that, taking modules that allowed me to teach lessons in a school environment and also having done previous tutor work. I believe one of the biggest disadvantages with how current sciences are taught are how specific and non-relatable they are. I structure my lessons around making the examples relatable, and also by showing how maths can be used in biology for example. As an applied mathematician, my approach is about looking at science as whole discipline as opposed to seperating them which allows problem solving from different angles which can allow you to do things like build on chemistry knowledge whilst studying physics. My lessons are for anyone wanting help with GCSE's, A-levels, or just someone who wants to improve their knowledge of maths and science.
