About Evelyn
Hi, I’m Evelyn Parker, with 8 years of experience teaching piano and keyboard to K-12 and first-year college students. I studied at University of Colorado Boulder, where I gained strong knowledge in music performance and teaching methods. As a highly experienced teacher, I focus on making lessons clear, engaging, and easy to follow. I have helped many students perform confidently and improve their musical skills. I received the Piano Teaching Excellence Award for my structured teaching style. Seeing my students grow musically makes me feel proud. Outside teaching, I enjoy playing piano and composing music.

My piano lessons are designed to help you build strong fundamentals while enjoying the learning process. As a highly experienced teacher, I ensure that every concept is taught clearly and step by step so you can improve without confusion. I will help you understand the topic you have been having trouble with, through clear explanations, useful examples, and a lot of guided and dynamic practice. I teach piano, keyboard, and synthesizer with proper hand positioning, chords, scales, rhythm, and note reading so you understand both theory and practical playing. You will learn songs step by step while improving coordination and timing. You can ask doubts anytime during the lesson and send songs before class so I can customize the lesson.
