About Tlhogonolofatso
I am a graduate with a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town (Majors: Psychology and Sociology). I furthered my studies by completing my Honours in Psychology at the South African College of Applied Psychology, where I gained a deeper understanding of human behaviour and mental health. My ultimate goal is to become a Clinical Psychologist, as I am deeply passionate about mental and behavioural health issues and dedicated to helping others.
My enthusiasm for research in the social sciences, particularly research methodology, stems from my awareness of its significant impact on individuals and communities. This passion was further cultivated in my current role as a Research Assistant at the University of Cape Town in 2025. I am also working towards my long-term academic goal of achieving a PhD in Psychology.
I am confident that my academic background, combined with my hands-on experience, has equipped me with the skills to provide comprehensive and effective tutoring. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.

My lessons are frequently structured as follows: we review curricula topics, objectives and assignments; I assist the student to better understand the foundational concepts brought up during class/lectures; and I assist in the preparation of projects, essays, tests and other academic tasks.
It is important to me to always have a good understanding of what the student wants to achieve overall and from each lesson. As I do not want to lecture, the lessons will be highly engaging.
I am proficient in English, Tswana and Southern Sesotho; and I am competent in Afrikaans.
Lessons will be taught in English.
Lessons are directed towards undergraduate students studying psychology or any social sciences majors which include a research methods course/module.
