About SONAL
As a Master of Science student at the University of Canterbury, I am passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential through personalized learning and support. With a strong background in microbiology, creative writing, and academic tutoring, I bring a diverse skill set to every lesson.
I understand that each student learns differently, which is why I take a student-centered approach. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging, and interactive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new concepts. I strive to make complex topics simple and enjoyable by using visual aids, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance.
My experience as an after-school tutor has equipped me with the patience and adaptability to support students of all levels. Additionally, my roles in volunteering and event organization have enhanced my communication and leadership skills, allowing me to effectively mentor and guide students to success.
With a focus on conceptual clarity, personalized learning plans, and regular feedback, I ensure every student feels supported throughout their academic journey. I offer lessons in science (biology and microbiology), general tutoring, and English for students from primary to high school levels.
If you're looking for a friendly, patient, and dedicated tutor who genuinely cares about your learning, I would be thrilled to support you on your educational journey. My commitment is to help you feel confident, capable, and ready to achieve your academic goals.
