About Matt
I am a current student at the University of Cambridge. I studied Natural Sciences for my undergraduate degree, encompassing Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Materials Science, now studying for a master's in Materials Science. My teaching experience stems from leading science classes for foreign students attending summer schools in the UK.

I teach Maths and Science to students in years 7-13. I always encourage students to explain their thought processes as this helps me identify any gaps in their understanding. I like to provide examples of ways in which the concepts studied are useful in real life - I find students enjoy seeing how their learning may be applied! Finally, but perhaps most importantly, I like to think I'm a friendly tutor!

Perfect! Matt was really organised and professional. He prepared work for my daughter to do beforehand and then explained it really carefully and clearly. Matt was easy going but managed to get loads covered. My daughter really liked him and said the lesson was fun and found the maths easy in the end... the sign of good teaching. I would really recommend Matt as a tutor.
