I teach my classes as a blend of practical, hand-on exercises and theory. Students actively engage with the software while following the step-by-step demonstration.
I have planned the classes as per below:
1. Introduction (5-10 mins): Brief overview of the day's topic (e.g., basic tools, modeling techniques, textures).
2. Demonstration (15 mins): Live demo of the tools and techniques.
3. Guided Practice (20-30 mins): Students replicate the demo with my guidance.
4. Independent Practice (15 mins): Students work on a mini-project or exercise to reinforce the lesson.
5. Review and Q&A (10 mins): Recap key points and address any questions.
With my own experience of 10 years in this field, I incorporate a lot of practical tips and tricks to streamline workflows.
My lessons are designed for beginners to intermediate students—architecture students, designers, hobbyists, or professionals—who want to learn or refine their SketchUp skills for academic projects, professional work, or personal interest.
