About Safinatul
Hello! I'm Safinatul, a Master of TESOL graduate from Monash University with a passion for helping people achieve their English language goals.
My journey as an English teacher began during my undergraduate studies, and over the years I have had the opportunity to teach children, teenagers, university students, and working professionals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. These experiences have shown me that learning English is about much more than grammar and vocabulary—it is about building confidence, creating opportunities, and connecting with people.
I love teaching because I enjoy seeing my students grow. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone who once felt nervous speaking English become confident enough to communicate, study, work, or pursue their dreams in English. Every student's journey is unique, and I feel privileged to be part of that journey.
Throughout my career, I have taught General English, IELTS preparation, Academic English, and English for everyday communication in both online and face-to-face settings. My background in TESOL has equipped me with evidence-based teaching strategies that allow me to adapt lessons to different learning styles and goals.
As your tutor, my aim is to create a supportive, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing your English with confidence. Whether you're preparing for an exam, improving your English for work or university, or simply wanting to communicate more fluently, I will support you every step of the way.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual goals, learning styles, and proficiency levels. Whether you are preparing for IELTS, improving your conversational English, strengthening your grammar, developing academic writing skills, or building confidence for work or study, I will design lessons that are practical, engaging, and personalized.
My teaching approach is learner-centered and communicative. I encourage students to actively use English through meaningful conversations, interactive activities, authentic materials, and real-life situations rather than simply memorizing grammar rules. I also provide constructive feedback and clear learning strategies to help students make steady progress and become more confident English users.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. At the beginning of our lessons, we will identify your learning goals and create a study plan that matches your needs and pace.
I hold a Master of TESOL from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language Education. I have experience teaching English to children, secondary school students, university students, and working professionals in both online and classroom settings. My teaching experience includes General English, Academic English, IELTS preparation, EAL support, speaking, pronunciation, grammar, and writing.
My lessons are suitable for learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students. Whether you are studying for school or university, preparing for an English exam, improving your workplace communication, or simply looking to become more confident in everyday English, I am here to support you in achieving your goals in a friendly, encouraging, and supportive learning environment.
