I have a M.A. Degree in ESL and thus incorporate knowledge of adult learning principles to create effective training programs for adult learners from all walks of life. I believe in learning by doing; projects that engage the learner using their language skills in real-life scenarios.
Since 2017 I have worked at York university both as a teacher and a designer. In these roles, I was responsible for developing and designing specialized learner-centered training programs such as adaptive learning that helped multiple types of learners succeed in their specific roles.
My experiences with rapid e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline) have taught me how to design and create interactive web-based courses that maximize learning for all users.
Finally, learning should be fun. I create interactive lessons that engage, challenge, but also entertain.
