About Isabelle
Hi, I’m Isabelle! Having enjoyed a successful 8 year long teaching career, I have had the pleasure of working with such amazing, funny and inspiring students. My favourite things about classroom based teaching were the relationships I formed with my students and seeing their growth and progress. I relish the idea of being able to do just this on a 1:1 or small group scale and to be able to truly personalise my teaching to individual students.

I believe that a confident learner is a successful learner. I am kind and caring and will always encourage and never humiliate. I teach lessons that are well pitched so that students make rapid progress right away. I strongly believe in making learning fun!
I ensure that all lessons are bespoke to the student, taking into account their learning style and ability. I have extensive experience working in schools as a classroom practitioner, special educational needs coordinator and SATs prep tutor. Through this experience, I have come to understand how to meet the needs and challenge a wide variety of students with different personalities, abilities and backgrounds I am passionate about enabling each student to fulfil their potential.
