About Roderick
I am a MEng Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Nottingham with experience with Maths and English tutoring. In terms of my history, I have a strong background in mathematics throughout my school years, completing my GCSEs in year 10 and my A-levels in year 11 with one of the top scoring pupils in the entire school.
With mathematics, it's meant to be fun! Bringing in tailored concepts and ideas to navigate the best route to problem solving. When solving a problem, I found that using visual aids, memorable/ fun phrases and dedicated hours really excelled how the mind registers information; to be able to perfect the base concept and not just regurgitate words back onto the page.
I currently work as a senior technical consultant in the ad tech industry, running clients through ad campaign strategies, conversion-based algorithms and sharing recommendations to improve client ROI.
