About Elizabeth
I am American, but I studied French for many years in the United States and also lived in France for seven years. I recently moved to New Zealand, but I miss language teaching and want to continue sharing this beautiful language with students here.

Language learning is not just memorization. I bring a unique perspective from my linguistics background, focusing on understanding the fundamental ways in which languages differ. My teaching experience is mostly at the university, from beginners to upper-intermediate, but I am open to teaching any age and level. I also have a specialization in phonetics and phonology which is helpful in teaching pronunciation and spoken fluency.
