About Kate
As someone who has completed 8 years of university education at different institutions, I am very familiar with the language needs of students. I have also completed 140 hours of TEFL training, and studied language learning and teaching as part of my Master's in linguistics. I can help students to understand the English skills they will need to study at university level.

Having been in post-18 education for nine years, I like to think I have a good idea of what works and what doesn't when it comes to teaching. I like to take an individual approach, seeing teaching as a two-way process where the teacher should also learn from their student about how to become a better teacher. I would be happy to help support GCSE and A-level English students, as well as undergraduates in language and linguistics related courses.
