About Mehrunisa
I am an M.Phil degree holder in media and communication. I have an extensive experience in the field of journalism/media. My passion has always been teaching so after leaving journalism I started tutoring in Pakistan. I have recently moved to the United States and want to pursue the same passion as tutoring is something that is close to me. Being a full-time mother has also given me an additional perspective of knowing that the best way to keep a child involved in constant learning is to make it interesting enough for them. That way, I will not only increase their understanding as well as improve their overall academic performance.
I can teach English, Mathematics, Pre-schoolers ages 3-7.

With my experience in teaching, I have come to understand that in order for a child to excel in academics, their concepts need to be clear. I don’t believe in the conventional methods of teaching. In times of this global pandemic, it is all the more important for a tutor to make sure their lesson is enjoyable, therefore, I endorse project based learning as it is more engaging. It lets a child be more creative and at the same time helps them better understand and enjoy their lessons.
